With the new W Fishing Kayak, kayaking and kayak fishing really are unlimited! This applies to every aspect of the sport, including the age of users. Traditional kayaks are a huge turn-off for younger kayakers- they’re uncomfortable, unsafe, and overall not fun. The W Fishing Kayak changes all that, allowing any paddler to stand up and paddle around with ease. A new website, youth kayak fishing, has been started to show the fun kids and teens are having with the W Fishing Kayak- check it out!
I was able to get in the thick stuff with my Wavewalk fishing kayak, and do some froggin’ for bass.
Didn’t catch any whoppers, but had some fun action on the frog!
Clint Miller, from New York, promised he’d send us more pictures from his kayak fishing trips, and this chunky large mouth bass is his latest catch:
Note the simple and effective paddle holder on the kayak’s side – It’s ready to take Clint’s paddle instantly, and allow him to cast at fish he sees while he’s paddling.
I own a [brand name kayak distributed by a nationwide fishing gear chain store].
I tried out my son Clint’s Wavewalk fishing kayak and caught this 6 lb-4oz largemouth flipping jigs in the heavy weeds. I have arthritic knees and the stand up fishing in the Wavewalk kayak is awesome, so I ordered one for myself.
Neil, kayak fishing guide extraordinaire, took me on a 2-day fishing tour of the Tampa Bay area this week, and took these pictures of some of the snook and redfish we caught. We had nice overcast weather and the Wavewalk fishing kayak performed great as usual. Thanks to Neil, I’ll now have a few more places to check out when fishing slows down in Ozello.
